    8-1 Problems

    1. We are extracting groundwater
    2. 2200tons/day in Ho-Mei plant
    3. Not restricted by law
    4. Groundwater recharge rate < Extraction rate
    5. subsidence , sea water intrusion, soil salinization

     

    8-2 Actions:

    1. Recycle 1000 tons/day to dye prroesses
    2. Reduce 1000tons of groundwater extraction

    8-3 Issues:

    It costs NTD14.5 /ton more

     

     

    Reasons

    1. We believe, we can bear this extra cost by making more effort to reduce 30% of other cost.
